Travel tips Romania:
From all over Europe there are (direct) flights to Bucharest. The international airport of the city is Henri Coanda Otopeni Airport (OTP). Airlines that fly on Bucharest include KLM, Tarom (the local Airline), AirFrance, Lufthansa and Austrial Airlines. Once you arrive in Bucharest it is easy to take a taxi or an Uber to the hotel of your choice.
On page 2c Hotels Bucharest you will find some hotel recommendations, but of course you can also make your own choice from Booking.com or Airbnb.com, or ask us for advice.
Should you want to make a roadtrip to Romania, there are plenty of nice stops along the way, no matter what your starting point is in Europe. Within Romania there are also numerous nice places. If you come by car to Romania, don’t miss the Transfăgărășan (also refer to this TopGear trailer), Brasov and the Black Sea (should you stay some extra days).
